Downtown Grand Rapids Wedding
tap tap tap…anyone still here? Ok elephant in the room I haven’t blogged since last February, yep LAST February and here we are and it’s already 2019. Where does time go, serious apologies, it isn’t that I haven’t had some crazy awesome clients and crazy awesome shoots because I have. I think I’ve had too many and just felt like some things needed to get pushed to the back burner so I could find whatever balance there is in life between boss lady running a business and an attentive loving mom and wife…HA BALANCE, like that really exist. Anyways, one of those things that got neglected was my blog, at least it wasn’t my kids right, lol!
So now that I’m back, assuming any of you are still here, let’s just kick off the blog with Julie and Sam’s wedding because it was pretty epic. I love these two, they are the happiest people you’ll ever meet and their wedding day reflected all of who they are. I feel like I don’t need to explain much because the pictures tell their story best. Can we all agree that the Downtown Market is a really sweet place to get married?! Yeah me too, so if you are planning to get married there or know someone who is, hit me up because I could shoot there every day!
Amanda and Chad were married downtown Grand Rapids at one of downtown's most beautiful churches in a fairy-tale inspired wedding. It was definitely a fairy-tale day surrounded by a wonderful group of friends and family, full of emotions, joy, and laughter. My favorite part of the day was the sound of the church bells chiming as the newly weds ran out of the church doors...and the cupcakes....still thinking about those cupcakes, yum! Congrats to Dr. & Mrs. Parkes

You might have seen Ryleigh and Justin on the blog last fall for their beautiful engagement session. These two have the most incredible love story which began in middle school...yes I said that right, middle school. Who can say they've been together and madly in love since middle school. I love that Ryleigh's vows talked about how she has never had to go through a breakup and experience a broken heart because she has always loved Justin, and he has always ever loved her. I love that rather then buy something new, Ryleigh chose to wear the necklace that Justin got her back in the beginning of their relationship. Ryleigh and Justin sincerely had a special day of the most incredible memories from heartfelt and tearful vows to the best party on the dance floor. Thank you so much for choosing me to document your love!
