I was honored to find out that Michelle was a self described "blog stalker" before she was even engaged. Finally she got her own beautiful rock and sent me the sweetest email telling me how excited she was to have me photograph her special day. Thank you Michelle, I am so incredibly flattered to have such a fan and to be invited to spend this exciting time documenting such cherished memories with you and Derek. So come July, we made the trip to to the other side of the state for Michelle and Derek's fabulous downtown Detroit wedding. I loved all of the amazing DIY details that made for a super unique urban wedding. Despite this being this years hottest wedding weekend, and add the fact that I was a waddling 6 months pregnant, we had a blast hanging out with these guys and visiting some cool places around the city.
