Grand Rapids Rooftop Styled Shoot

We had the amazing opportunity to photograph a styled shoot on a rooftop patio with incredible views of downtown Grand Rapids.  It was a perfect collaboration of some fabulous talent, and excellent wedding vendors in the Grand Rapids area.  One of the best parts about being in the wedding industry is that you work with so many other and artistic people who love to get together and create something amazing just for the creativity and fun.   It was an honor to be part of this group and photograph the gorgeous inspiration that unfolded.  If you are planning a wedding check out some of these awesome vendors who contributed, they are some of the best!

Steve & Shanda are married! | Associate Katie

Shanda was my college roommate.  Steve is her soulmate.  These two are so completely perfect for each other - they are both passionate about people, music, and creativity.  They could not have had a more perfect day.  I think my favorite part was their "no-look" just before the ceremony.  They laughed and talked and prayed and at the very end Steve just couldn't wait to see his beautiful bride anymore - it was so sweet!  Shanda & Steve, I'm so happy for the two of you and I can't wait to watch your marriage grow.  Congratulations again - the best is yet to come!

Dahlia Field Maternity Session - Aubrie and Andy

There is no other word for Aubrie and Andy's maternity session but magical.  We had some fun with their cute and playful pup Riley, a gorgeous blooming field of dahlias, a beautiful flower crown crafted by the genius of Posh Petals, beautiful fields, a sunflower patch, glowing sunset with dramatic clouds in the sky, and best of all an absolutely adorable couple who is over the moon excited to meet their precious baby.  I'm just loving these sweet maternity sessions, there's something so special about the anticipation and excitement in meeting that new little member of your family.  Congrats Aubrie and Andy, I'm so excited for you and can't wait to meet Baby B!
