Since they're going to start their new life together in Kalamazoo, Kelly and Travis wanted to highlight this special city they've come to know as home in their engagement session. We started out at Arcadia Brewing Company for a few drinks and snuck in a couple snuggles, too, and then made our way over to some buildings with great texture (my favorite!) Kelly and Travis, your joy is contagious and I can't wait for your June wedding!

Kim and Ryan are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. Kim was glowing with joy ALL day and Ryan was continuing to fill Kim with even more Joy ALL day... so you would guess that Kim and Ryan were always smiling :) Nothing could ruin their day of love.... not even a little rain for the 85 degree day in May (crazy Michigan).
We were able to stop at an apple orchard that was blossoming, they had a beautiful church ceremony, and then had their reception at the always wonderful Grand Rapids Downtown Market. I hope you enjoy this post of these happy people.. their smiles are contagious.

The Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, MI is a beautiful venue for a wedding and Tara and Erik's love made the day even more beautiful. This day was perfect; from the family heirloom brooch on Tara's flowers, the penny Tara wore in her shoe that her dad gave her with the year she was born, the purse that her grandmother wore to her parents wedding that Tara used for her wedding day in remembrance of her grandmother, the awesome cake topper of a bride and groom riding bikes (both Tara and Erik enjoy road biking), the most special gifts for both mothers, and their favors being a donation to the American Diabetes Association because Tara works as a certified diabetes educator. Everything had a very special meaning and I am so happy that I was able to capture all of these special moments. Tara and Erik, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Bryson and Taylor are cousins and Bryson happens to be the best big cousin to sweet and silly Taylor.
Denise (Macy's Mom and Lindsey's Aunt) came to me wanting to do a surprise photo shoot of Macy and Lindsey's kids. Denise didn't want these fantastic loving moms to go unoticed. I think this is the most perfect gift for these loving mothers.
