An urban Grand Rapids engagement session for Mary and Ryan. We spent an amazing evening roaming around downtown searching for some of the cool textures and locations that make Grand Rapids the best city in West Michigan. It was a great time getting to know Mary and Ryan and gave us a good reason to roam the city. We ended our night at a beautiful quiet lake with a gorgeous sunset and those perfect summer noises of crickets and bull frogs. I couldn't have asked for better session, thank you so much sharing this special moment with me, can't wait for wedding day!! 
Erik and Megan are one of the sweetest and most genuine couples I've met. Seriously, they have hearts of gold. Megan is a dear friend and super talented photographer - check out her work here. After shooting weddings together the past couple years, I was so honored to photograph her wedding! Megan and Erik, your love for each other is beautiful and inspiring to those around you.

So, we're out taking some sunset photos and I turned to change my lens. And then this happened.
If you are looking for the most compatible couple, Isaac and Kelley are probably it. If you remember Isaac and Kelley's engagement session, I mentioned that I had the honor of meeting Kelley and Isaac on a trip to Zambia. This is where their love started. From their love of soccer (and awesome soccer skills if I may add), their passion for the people of Zambia, their relationship with Christ, their love of funfetti cake, and of course their love for each other; they are the definition of an adorable couple. Isaac and Kelley's wedding day was nothing short of perfect either. The little bit of rain that came down on their big day didn't even put a dent in the couple's day and their pure joy. I am very excited to share these and was extremely honored to be a part of Kelley and Isaac's day of love.. and look now all of you can witness their love in the photos below! Oh and be prepared for the cutest "no look" ever.

Otis is so full of smiles and oh-so-cute! I mean, seriously, that grin and that bow tie? Adorable. I don't get the opportunity to photograph babies too often and I loved getting to hang out with this little man.
